Up to now, reporting on intra-community VAT from the MS to the EU is happening in a summary report. In the future, each eInvoice is going to generate TWO DRR messages at MS level. The central VIES will be confronted with potentially hundreds of millions of messages per month. Estimates are needed to establish proper capacity management for the central VIES. This might even have an influence on the technological choices that will have to be made and communicated timely to the MS.
