This Enterprise Architecture model is derived from the KU Leuven Public Architecture Reference Architecture (PAAF RA), for teaching Enterprise Architectures to the Postgraduate course Data Use and Management ("Postgraduaat Datagebruik en -beheer") 2024-2025 of the Public Governance Institure of KU Leuven. The PAAF RA model is intended to be a starting point for developing an Enterprise Architecture for any Public Administration. The model is published by the Public Governance Institute of KU Leuven ( https://soc.kuleuven.be/io/english ) KU Leuven ( https://www.kuleuven.be ) developed this Reference Architecture model as part of the Public Administration Architecture Framework (PAAF) in close cooperation with the Belgian Federal Organisation for Digital Transformation ( https://dt.bosa.be/en ), that is part of the Belgian Federal Public Service for Policy and Support ( https://www.bosa.be ). This Reference Architecture is partly based upon the ArchiMate model of the European Interoperability Reference Architecture (EIRA). The EIRA has been developed in the context of Action of the Interoperability Solutions for European Public Administrations (ISA) Programme. The EIRA is a reference architecture focused on the interoperability of digital public services. It is composed of the most important architecture building blocks needed to promote cross-border and cross-sector interactions between public administrations. It is based on the Service Oriented Architecture style and uses ArchiMate as a modelling notation. The EIRA implements the New European Interoperability Framework (EIF) .
